Marine cargo Insurance Scope of Cover?

The Comprehensive marine cargo insurance cover (clauses ‘A’) provides cover for loss or damage to the Insured’s property as a result of the following:

Perils of the seas
Fire and explosion
Theft of goods on board and short delivery
Jettison
Loss incurred to prevent a foreseeable severe loss on the high sea
Stranding, grounding and sinking of conveying vessel
Discharge at the port of distress
Overturning or derailment of land conveyance
War risks

Marine cargo clause C

This cover provides the least coverage within the marine insurance cover. The clause does not cover claims for partial losses whatsoever, as it covers goods to be carried on total loss basis only.

Marine hull insurance

This provides cover for loss or damage to the Insured ship and her equipment as a result of the following:

Fire & Explosion
Perils of the seas, rivers, lakes or other navigational waters
Piracy
Negligence of Masters, officers, crew or pilot
Any other perils as contained in the policy
